Someone please correct my sentences

1. Let me know a possible date for you to come after office, because if so I have to put your book to my bag.

2. Shall we go to the morning screen of that movie? Because I have to be at university by 1 p.m.

Top answer

dilshi 1. Let me know a possible date for you to come after office, because if so I have to put your book to my bag. This seems to be saying that you may be coming to see me, and if you do, I will put your book in my bag, which is nonsense.

  • Can you rephrase it as something more coherent so we can understand it better?

Thank you.
In the first sentence I meant by date means tomorrow or day after tomorrow or when is the possible day.
So now can you please correct my first sentence?

That's not the problem.

When someone comes to see me, I don't put their book in my bag.

What's that about? Are you trying to hide the book because you stole it from them?
