Hello,
1.They should give the money to somebody who they think needs the treatment most.
I have to break the above sentence into two independent sentences.
1a)They should give the money to somebody. They think that needs the treatment most.
1b)They should give the money to somebody. They think someone needs the treatment most.
1c)They should give the money to somebody. They think he/she needs the treatment most.
Which one is correct or suggest any other possibilities?

hanuman_2000 Which one is correct None of those is possible. If you wish to perform that rather silly task meaningfully, you will have to do something like this: They should give the money to somebody. However, it should be given to someone who they think needs treatment most.
