Students get away from their lessons in order to travel some places after graduating from high school. While some young people argue that they would study tertiary education. In this essay, I will attempt to outline some key reasons for this.

On the one hand, a gap year is simply an extendable, self-indulgent holiday so it is the best time so as to look for a new part-time or full-time job. As students could use their new knowledge after leaving their school to contribute strongly development of the company or organization.
Besides, many candidates have also graduated at the same time so young people should apply as soon as possible to compete with others which give them opportunities such as an interview between a job applicant and the director.

On the other hand, it is also necessary to relax and unwind before settling down on the first long term job. For instance, traveling to distant places so that young people could broaden their horizon about the world, do voluntary work or backpack and gain a huge amount from the experience which will help them find employment in their return.

In conclusion, although it is true that some people may spend a year on the beach wasting time and money, students come back home having done charity or looked for a great job which suits them.
