"some", "you" and "one" in one sentence?

Is this correct language use?

"Some might get some genes from their parents that can enhance your ways if one becomes criminal" ?

No. That sounds all mixed up! I'd try to correct it, but I don't understand "enhance your ways". What does that mean? And what connection does it have to becoming criminal?
