Some vs a few

Hello everyone,

is there a difference between these two sentences?

1. There are some dolls in the set

2. There are a few dolls in the set

Which one is correct and why?

Thanks.

They're both correct, but they are a bit different. "Some" doesn't specify how many in the least; "a few" is rather specific, indicating about 3.
