Hello,everyone.I need some help in these vocabularies shown below.That are riot,rebellion,revolt,disorder and turbulence.They have the identical sense of a situation in which a group of people behave in violent way to protest against something such as government,law,organisation,etc.Can you tell me the distinction between them ?  Riot means that the situation of a smaller group of people in which protesting against something such as government and must being with using violence ?In general,rebellion means that an attempt by some of the people in a country to change their GOVERNMENT with using violence ?Revolt means a protest against authority especially government ?I'm looking forwards to getting some kindly replies.Thanks in advanced.

They have the identical sense of a situation in which a group of people behave in violent way to protest against something such as government,law,organisation,etc.

They are similar, but not identical.

A riot is a group that is "out of control" and destroying property and possibly fighting (another group, or with the police/army/security forces).

In general,rebellion means that an attempt by some of the people in a country to change their GOVERNMENT with using violence ?

A rebellion is not always violent, although it certainly may be. You could describe a group of politicians, from one political party, staging a rebellion against their leader and voting them out of leadership. To rebel against something is to take a stance against it. It is often an unpopular decision.

Revolt means a protest against authority especially government ?

Yes, that is a good description - similar to revolution.

Disorder simply means acting in a way that disturbs the current order. It could be violent, but not necessarily. It could be threatening, intimidating or offensive behaviour. In New Zealand there is a law against "disorderly behaviour", which can include people urinating in public - not violent, but offensive behaviour. Many countries have a charge called "Drunk and Disorderly" for someone who is drunk and causing problems by their behaviour (maybe yelling abusing words at people, breaking things, throwing things in the street, etc).

Turbulence is not necessarily related to behaviour. It is more commonly used to describe the rough air conditions experienced during flying. It certainly relates to chaoticness and disorder. It is used to describe periods of time whether there has been unrest or disorder: "They were turbulent times."

So that means riot is people normally/alway protest something with using violence

(because that'll be just a demonstration without violence,the protesters will just chant their slogan and walk on the street,except they start using violent like destroying public utilities,fighting with anti-riot police,that'll be the "real" riot,am I thinking in right ?)

Riot is used to indicate a protest against government ONLY ?How about the staff stage a demonstration against their company reducing the year-end bonus,and turning into a riot finally,can I use riot in this way ?

Rebellion and revolt only indicate a dissatisfaction with government ? What is the distinction between their meanings ?

Under what condition will it be a disorder ? Disorder isn't a riot but it just disturbs current order,what kind of current order ?
