Online studying is one of the phenomenon that has emerged in many universities in the contemporary society. Although online learning has several drawbacks, I would argue that it brings a wide range of benefits for learners.
We should recognize that learners have been received a multitude of advantages from online courses. First, people do not spend time for commuting because they could learn whenever and wherever. Second, the fees of online courses is always less expensive than courses in campus. This could save money for students. In addition, online courses help students who could manage effectively their schedule and acquaint with self-study. For instances, a vast of videos and materials of courses is uploaded so that students have to digest on time. Online courses also are facilitators to officers who are afforded to learn at night because they have to work all days.
Despite the merits mentioned above, I believe that online courses have several demerits. The lack of interactions between trainers and learners is the most considerable. Consequently, students donot have opportunities to engage face to face with teachers to enhance knowledge up to the minute. Moreover, group working skill is an essential skill for students without considering in online courses. As a result, students will be less confident, ability of dedication and accountability.
In conclusion, I suppose that online courses is neither a boon or a bane. This is a decent trend in the modern life.
