some slangs needed help

I watched a movie today called: " Jump in". There are some expressions I cannot take in like:

" Corny much?"

" come on .... ( something I cannot remember).... with come on"

And when the actor was practicing with the punchbag, his coach said: Come on, pick it up

And in another movie, they have a saying :"In a crunch time, your heart will be so buff". What is a crunch time?

"Corny much" doesn't make any sense -- you must have mis-heard what they were saying. Without more context, I can't guess what it might be.

" come on .... ( something I cannot remember).... with come on" The reply of the actor when the girls dare him to jump rope because he said that "Rope jumping is a child's play"

By the way, I've watched this with my daughters, so I basically remember the movie, but not enough to recall the dialogue word by word.

When I watched as far as the middle of the movie, I began to take note words that I don't understand. Evidently the film has its caption, so that's why I have some slangs above.

As for "come on..... with come on", well, that is prior to the time I took my notebook out and I couldn't remember it clearly.

corny : trite, dated, meladromatic.

From that definition, I would guess "corny much?" to mean "sound too corny?"

Here is an example that I saw from one of the blogs:
"My mom is the light in my life and my strength; corny much?"
