Some questions on a song
Hi. Please help. I was listening to Westlife's "Uptown Girl" and have some questions on its lyrics. I think the person depicted by the phrases "backstreet guy" and "downtown man" is a man who is either tough physically and/or mentally, or leading a tough life. Thank you in advance.
1) What kind of person is "backstreet guy"? I don't know if its two words, "back street," or one word, "backstreet," for the phrase "backstreet guy."
