Some questions having confusing answers

Hi,

Here are some questions I have answered but wrong (according to my teacher). However, I am not satisfied with my teacher's explanation. Hope you give me some ideas.

2. I think when 2 people sign a contract, there is usually a term like this: if one break the contract, he/she will have to give the other an amount of money, for compensation.

But when one do something illegal or wrong with the third person and don't want to let his/her parner know, he/she will give the third one some money to keep he/she silent. It's bribery.
