1. " He looked at the girl " can be analysed in 2 different ways. What are they?
2.What is the difference in terms of semantic role between the bold words in " Ilooked into her eyes but I saw nothing special in there"
3. " I don't love you because you are rich can be open to more than one interpretation. What are they?
4. " Harry didn't attack the Labour Government " can be interpreted in three different ways according to the different stress placement.True or False? Why?
5.Is the sentence " the long journey over, we relaxed in warm sunshine" simple or complex?

-- You can consider the verb intransitive ('look') and 'at the girl' adverbial, or you can consider it a transitive phrasal verb ('look at') and 'the girl' the direct object.
What is the difference in terms of semantic role between the bold words in " I looked into her eyes but I saw nothing special in there" - - I see no difference, sorry.
