Some questions about "so".

Hi, everyone, it's been such a long time since my last visit here.

Here I've got two sentences which looks quite confusing to me.

#1. So meaningful is the passage that the implications it inclines to convey are apparent.

#2. To such an extent does the environment pollute that biodiversity is undermined.

I am wondering whether the above sentences are correct in grammar. Besides, is there any modifications could be made to perfect them while expressing the same meaning?

Any reply would be appreciated.

These are were beautiful sentences. I love loved them just the way they are were. But you can always re-arrange things just for fun.

  • The picture above is so illuminating and meaningful that its implications need not be explained - almost.
  • The environment deteriorates to such an extent that its ability to support biodiversity is badly damaged.

They are grammatically correct. And you can certainly modify them to remove the inversions, if that's what you are puzzled about, but that does not necessarily "perfect" them.
The passage is so meaningful that the implications it inclines to convey are apparent.
The environment pollutes to such an extent that biodiversity is undermined.
