what is the different between "executive summary" and "introduction"?

Top answer

The introduction is just a general bit of blurb to 'introduce' the company and the plan, it does not need to be very long. The executive summary summarises the entire plan down to a few pages, giving the important facts and figures, but without all the analysis etc.
