Grammar

Some questions.

Hello,
Could you please have a look at these questions and say if they're correct ?.

To be :
1-Ted is to leave this year ( does it mean that it's probable or certainty ?)
2-You are not to sit up tonight.(does it mean that it's an obligation?)
Can these sentences be replaced by:
1-Ted is maybe leaving this year.
2-You mustn't sit up tonight.
I read in a grammar book that both these below sentences are correct, though I've never seen this kind of question in sentence 2.
1-Does your father have a car ?/ Do you have a cat ?.
2- Has your father a car ?/ Have you a cat ?.
Do these sentences below mean the same ?Are they interchangeable ?
1- I had rather play than work.
2-I would rather play than work .

Thanks in advance.
