Hi all.



Actually I am confusing about two phrases.



1) be meant to be.

Is this meaning that 'to be considered as sth generally'.

can give some example sentences ? thx in advance.



2) it is meant that .........

not very clear what's meaning here.

also need your help to provide example sentences.

#1-- This cheese is meant to be drunk with the wine. I was meant to be a richer person. Be meant to be = be intended to be

Where did you get #2? I cannot fit it easily into a sentence; the passive voice is very awkward.
