Hi. Please help. I believe the word "problem" is a countable noun. I also believe the word "idea" also is a countable noun. I think we can say, "You should have gotten some idea as to how to proceed by now." Like with the word "idea," could we use the word "some" in front of the word "problem"? Thank you in advance.
eg, A gave directions as to how to get to his home. He also was somewhat unsure whether his friend B could get to his place because B was very new to the area and thought the names of places in the directions would pose some problem (some problem - correct here?) for his friend. Could he say this?
I might have guessed that it would pose some problem for him.
