Hi all people here. Could you please tell me which sentences are correct and why - explain.
1.I have known that for ages - for example that she was ill
or 1. I knew that for ages?
2. We grew up together. or 2. We have grown up together?
3. Did you know that? or Have you known that?
Why if i google there is always written: Did you know that? Why there isn't Have you known that?
What is more correct? 4. How should this sentence be structured?
4. How should be this sentence structured?
OK then which sentence is correct?
Chuck Norris has been here. (and he left there something for example big hole which he dug.) or can I also say: Here has Chuck Norris. or Here Chuck Norris has been. or where should I put here/has/been in that sentence?
And if I am talking about friends/relationships like how long somebody knows someone. I ask how long have you know her? or How long do you know her? Thanks
Could you please tell me the strictly sentences where PRESENT PERFECT MUST BE USED, because I am always confident whether Present Perf. or Past Simple... THANK YOU
