Some people think that the scientific work should be control. Others argue that scentists should be free to do whatever research the want. Discuss both views

In recent year, there has been a considerable public concern for scientific research. While some people argue that goverments should put limitations on scientific work for some reasons, others believe that scientists should recieve the right to do whatever kind of research they want.

On the one hand, those who think that scientific research shold be controlled might emphasis the adverse effects that scientific work can bring out. Firstly, many scientific projects cost large amount of money, thereby, putting heavy burdens on the national budget. As a result, the goverment doesn’t have enough money to pay for other key fields such as education and health care. Secondly, some experiments are so dangerous that if there is some accident getting out of control, it can severely impact on the human health, enen damage the living environment. Nuclear experiment is a case in point. A tiny error in running the nuclear factory can destroy the whole living organism in a large area of thousands of hecta.

On the other hand, other people believe that there is no need to keep the work of scientists under control. They maintain that limitations on scientific work can cause suspensions on technological development. As technological advances play an integral part in human life, scientists should by publicly encouraged to do whatever they want. Take health aspect for example, thanks to the development of technology, it is now possible to analyse nutrition contents on food, which in turn could lead to the discovery of balanced diets with perfect calorie and vitaamin intakes for people to funtion effectively and healthily. Consequently, no restrictation should be placed on the work of scientists.

In conclusion, there are some plausible reasons why scientific work should be kept under control, however one cannot deny that giving the scientists freedom to do every research they want would benefit human life.
