It is believed that the key to achieve success in life is to work hard and to be determined, but others consider that incomes and appearance are the most important factors to be successful. In this essay, I will discuss these two points of view and explain why I support for the first opinion.

To begin with, nowadays we live in a materialistic world where everybody judge an individual base on her or his look and bank account. Most of the people assume that having lots of money means you could buy and use the most modern devices like the house, car or even could access to the best education. Therefore, having tremendous amount of money means you are ensured to achieve success quickly and easily. Moreover, a good look is an essential factor in some field. For instant, if you want to be a model, you must have an attractive appearance and fit body as this industry is very competitive.

However, we could not deny that diligence and determination would lead you to success. Thomas Edison failed many times when inventing the bulb, nevertheless, he kept devise, then finally succeed. He said that genius is 1% talent, and 99% is hard work. That is why we should persevere in doing our work or anything in life.
