Some people think that schools should reward students who show the best academic results, while others believe that it is more important to reward students who show improvement.

One of the most under controversing problems in each education is the deserved rewarding for the students. Some people think that rewarding for the best- performed student is more important than that for the one who show improvements, in contrast, i believe in the opposite trurth.

It is undeniable that rewarding the student reached the highest score at school is neccessary for some reasons. First of all, schools have to prize the people who had more subsequent attemps than others for being the best: may be the hardest or the most effectively-working ones. Second, a competitive will be created in the class or school, stimulating directly the others to try their best for the first position. Beside this, the students who are rewarded once will also desire remaining their own rank. Thanks to rewarding the best person, we could encourage learners to accquire a myriad of as much knowledge as possible.

While prizing for the students who had the best results has several obvious advantages. I suppose that it is more worth- noticing for teachers to reward the progressive students. The first reason is that gaining both basic and academic knowledge require a long term process and hard efforts, hence, the individuals who surpass his or her own limitation to advance their scores, is deserved to be recognized and rewarded. By various rewarding methos: mental or physical gifts, school could maximise students's self-motivation in their pursuit of stydying. An example may be a convincing evidence for above justification. If schools only rewarded for best students, others who is in average level or even lower would not try hard to finding any solution to improve their scores. In comparison, rewarding for the progressive students is more benificial since it is the best way to push every individuals in every level overtake their own availble abilities, which reduce obstacles related to unneccesary emulations.
