In the development of modern technology, some people assume that electric devices contribute to their convenient access to useful information while other people think that newspapers are the most effective way to consume news. The essay below I will present my views in both newspapers and other media.
On the one hand, newspapers exist in history throughout decades which is considered as the best source of information. In the past, people did not have many choices to access the news and newspapers were a valuable source to help human beings keep current affairs and update the knowledge of their surroundings. Some people still keep the habit of reading newspapers even though many media outlets appear nowadays. Not only that, people can keep the news and read it again whenever they are interested. When they come across the news which is useful to them and they can store it at a certain place. It takes just a few seconds to get it from the bookshelf. On top of that, newspapers are not only to get news but also to wrap different kinds of things such as food and gifts.
On the other hand, the other electronic devices such as TV, smartphone, etc, also are convenient and sufficient means to approach news. With such a small phone which can connect to the internet, humans can access plenty of news in a short time. Moreover, you can listen to the news and you are exhausted to read. Some channels have functions to listen, people can consume knowledge even while they are sleeping. Furthermore, there is no doubt that other technical equipment help readers share the news easily to their friends and family in a nick of time. For example, they read information about the wake of Covid-19, they want the other relatives to know in order to warn, remind or even with the purpose of giving a wakeup call to their families.
To conclude, the benefits of both newspapers and other media are obvious.
However, each person has their own choice. We should take it into consideration to make options which are suitable to your favor and circumstance to consume news.
