Some people think that museums should be enjoyable places to attract and entertain young people. Others think that the purpose of museums is to educate, not to entertain. Discuss both views and give your opinion

People are being divided in their opinion whether museums should become pleasant places to entertain the youth or giving knowledge to teach them. Although some people visit museums for playing, I suppose that museums are more suit for education. This essay sheds light on both viewpoints.

On the one hand, some people give reasons why museums should open to becoming playing place. Initially, museums exhibit many statues, paintings, and other types of objects, so visitors in museums not only look at these objects or take a walk around museums but also take some photos to keep memories. in this way, museums are ideal destinations where adults have a chance to escape from a stressful and busy lifestyle. However, it is relatively waste if the museums’ benefits are only to improve people’s minds.

On the other hand, I strongly believe that museums' purposes are to provide deep knowledge for mature people. To begin with, museums are not suitable for entertaining due to disturbing the other people as well as people only takes some careless action, they can break priceless objects. Meanwhile, for example, in history museums, each valuable ancient item displayed gives young people a chance to be exposed to historical stories about the ancestor. Therefore, they can broaden their horizon and have a sense of preserving the national culture. It’s the best way to educate the youth about the knowledge which they are hardly taught in school.

In conclusion, with my personal view, I think museums play an important role in people's life, thus they need to use for sharing information rather than entertaining.
