Some people think that it is best to live in a horizontal city, while others think of a vertical city. Discuss both views and give opinions

People often wonder whether they should live in a horizontal city or a vertical one. While many people suppose that living in a city with high constructions is advantageous to some extent, I would agree that breathing in a city where people can only find few tall buildings is much better.

On the one hand, there are some reasons why people enjoy living in modern cities with buildings and skycrapers. Firstly, a perpendicular city could have more space for public usage. Many parks might be built, many trees might be plant in order to help children and the elderly improve their health and avoid obesity. Secondly, it is much more convenient for inhabitants to live in an apartment of a tenement house. Residents not only enjoy an ideal living space, but also make the most of the awe-inspiring services with shopping, food, entertainment such as mall, indoor activities and cinema.

On the other hand, I believe that the option to live in a horizontal city is beneficial in some ways. First, if residents settle in a private house with just a few floors, they may save a great deal of money since they do not have to spend money on building service fees. Furthermore, a house more closing to the ground is much safer when emergencies occur. For instance, if the city encounters a heavy earthquake, citizens can find many ways to cope with this phenomenon like going down their basement.

In conclusion, although living in both horizontal and vertical city are advantageous in their own ways, it seems to me that it is better to spend our life in a low-flat city.
