Some people think that hosting international sports events is good for the country, while some people think it is bad. Discuss both views and state your opinion.

Nowadays, it is argued by a number of people that organizing global sporting competitions is beneficial for the nation, while some said that it will brings problematic for the society. In this essay, I will analyze on both sides of view.

On the one hand, there are several demerits for a country when hosting sports events. Firstly, organize global athletics will cost numerous money for a nation. For example, World Cup 2010 was held in South Africa is known for the most expensive in history with a cost of up to 33 billion VND. Specifically, host contry was built 5 stadium, an airport and many routes serve traffic. Moreover, many constructions will be wasted if not used anymore. For instance, after Olympic in China, construction of MT building has been abandoned until now. Sport centre is wild as the desert.

On the other hand, organizing global sports brings many merits for a country, First of all, it will attracts tourist all aroung the world. For instance, after the F1 season in Singapore, estimate about 100.000 audiences were at the staium to watch the F1. And from that, this sport event brings back more than 70 USD million for Singapre. In addition, hosting global sports helps social more modenized and creates many oppotunities for inhabitants. More specific, many buiding was build as well as ?nfrastructured and road, the unemployment rate in that locality decreased. From there, it helps to develop country’s economy.

In conclusion, there are many dark sides of a country when organizing events soprts such as poor economy and waste of resources. In my opinion, it has bright sides from boosting nation’s economy and increse of tourism.
