The debate over problems related to environment has become the issue of intense public and personal interest. While some people believe that residents are unable to resolve environmental matters because of their size, I am strongly in favour of the idea that people could partly mitigate these problems.
On the one hand, it is widely believed that it is harshly challenging for civilians to handle these environmental problems while the unity of nations all over the world is able to alleviate them. Undoubtedly, the global warming and greenhouse effect are two main issues that affect adversely our habitat and to put an end to these issues, the power of solely individuals is for sure not enough. For example, it is impossible for a group of residents who want to protect the environment to deter ice in Arctic from melting. The reason is that problems like that should be tackled properly by thorough plans and modern equipments provided by big countries such as America or Russia or famous organizations like United Nations.
On the other hand, I pay my faith in the opinion that there are some remedies that could be taken by residents to deal with the problems of environment. It is irrefutable that using bicycle or public transport is a viable attempt to reduce the amount of emissions to natural environment. If residents go to work by bus instead of cars, there would be a substantial decrease in the number of private vehicle in roads, as a result, the amount of car emissions would be much lower. In addition, inhabitants also could restrain source of water from being polluted by legions of workable solutions. If factories could be aware of the dangerous consequence of releasing sewage and chemicals into rivers and people are conscious of their habit of throwing rubbish to lakes, water pollution could be eased easily.
In conclusion, although the problems of environment are so enormous that people face the dilemma of solving it by themselves, I am of the opinion that they could partly alleviate these issues by some feasible solutions.
