Some people think children‘s spending time on TV, video and PC games is good, while others think it is bad. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Many people think that children’s spending time on TV, video and PC games is good while others disagree with this. Although I am more in favour of the latter opinion, this essay will discuss both views.

There are several reasons for the belief that chidren should spend their time on TV, video and PC games. Firstly, watching television shows, music, video-songs, and live matches are sources of their entertainment after learning at school. Normally, children have much pressure from their school such as high scores, teachers, and parents. As a result, they tend to do that things which reduce their stress. Secondly, these things should make children developing their visual intelligence skills, imagination, and improving their skills about memory and speed, it is needed for them and support them very well when they learn, study or reseaches.

However, I believe that it is bad for children when spending their time on TV, video and PC games. To begin with, that things are a waste of time for children, children often wastes their time in TV, playing inappropriate computer games during exams which may affect their education, their directions in the future. Furthermore, sitting at one place and watching TV, videos, playing computer games continuously is not good for eyes as well as health; Eyestrain, backpain, headache may results while playing computer games, watching TV. Most children don't exercise; instead they eat junk food, which is not good for our health. The combination of eating junk food and not exercising can easily result obesity in a short period of time.

In conclusion, I believed that children have to focus on their learning and outside activities. It is better for them than TV, games and it will make children grow up both health and thinking.
