Some people say that too much attention and too many resources are given in the protection of wild animals and birds. Do you agree/disagree?

It is often believed that an excessive amount of attention and money is being diverted into the preservation of wild species. Personally, I totally disagree with this perspective given the rampant loss of animals and the utmost significance of animal conservation.

The cogent reason why I believe that humanity still does not allocate enough attention and resources to the protection of animals and birds is that the extinction of wild species still goes unchecked. Undoubtedly, there exist numerous reports of animals dying due to the destruction of their natural habitats and widespread deforestation. For example, although several conservation programs have been launched, the number of endangered animals is still on the increase. This means that the present amount of attention and resources given to the protection of animals and birds are still alarmingly insufficient.

The second rationale for my belief that people are not directing enough attention and efforts toward animal conservation is the inextricable link between animals and humans. Admittedly, were the animal extinction to persist, it would severely afflict the ecosystem in several aspects, thereby posing existential threats to humanity in terms of diseases and food insecurity. Therefore, considering the paramountcy of conserving animals to avert the worst-case scenario, greater concentration and resources should be used to address the problem of animal extinction.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly disagree with the view that people are paying too much concern and spending excessively on the preservation of wild species for certain reasons, including the dwindling animal population and its vital importance.
