Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is said that music is the best way to connect people of all ages and different cultures together. I absolutely hold with that standpoint.

To begin with, music enthralls the listeners, first of all, by melody instead of meaning. It is for real that we remember the strain of a song pretty much any time before we know the song’s name, and the lyric. So, when we hear a song which written in a language we didn’t know, it’s okay because our brain needn’t have enough knowledge about that language to remember its melody. For instance, as a fan of K-pop, I didn't learn Korean at all; even so, I can sing my favorite group’s songs fluently. Thus, listening to the music of different languages still helps you feel the emotion which the singer inspires. Besides, thanks to music, a record executive can eke out their culture, their lifestyle, social trends, or everything they want to express, with the lyrics. And of course, listeners can understand what the producer was transmitting. Moreover, they are up to get new languages.

Last but not least, music associates the young generation with the old generation. To illustrate, when people are fond of a type of music, they might try their best to join in the community of fans. In that, they share their feeling, thinking and their experience comfortably with people have the same avocation at all ages. As in my personal experience, I join a group fan of my idol in which we share everything about our idol support activities such as how to enjoy the concert, the price of ticket, goods, where to buy those….Moreover, the elderly sometimes advise youngsters on their emotional, psychological matters. Hence, that is why I am convinced that loving music is synonymous with erasing the generation’s distance.

In summary, I support the idea that music is the best way to connect people of all ages and different cultures together.
