Some people feel that entertainers such as film stars, pop musicians or sports stars are paid too much money. Do you agree or disagree? Which other types of job should be highly paid?

In this ever-developing society, the prosperity of the entertaining field has raised some considerable concerns, mainly that entertainers like film stars, pop musicians or sports stars are paid too high a salary. From my point of view, I disagree with the statement because this underestimates the hard-work and risks of their efforts and suggest a better payment to people in the educational and manual sectors.

First and foremost, the majority of people only judge these people through their glamorous appearance without a deep understanding of their hard work and deadly risks. As can be seen, an individual needs specific patterns and prerequisites to pursue one job, but entertainers take on two or more jobs stimulously. In other words, they multitask, so apart from filming scenes, composing music or dealing with sponsors and fans, many of them also involve in commercials or charity works, which fully fill their busy schedules. Furthermore, not only can a sports player get injuries in a crash, the actors may also hurt themselves in action scenes. Briefly, the payment offered in term of these hard-work and risk are understandable.

Moving on, it is a fact that the number of high-standard teachers and lecturers as well as strikes among the manual workplace is surging and low salary is to blame. Regarding these fields, the teachers and workers have to put a lot of effort and time into their work. Preparing the teaching materials, exams or working extra time under the harsh conditions are testaments to this. However, the current payment offered is barely insufficient, only enough to get by and this brings about many concerns related to the families and the lives of these people. Therefore, higher salaries are proposed to satisfy their contribution.

In conclusion, considering the hard work and the risks involved, entertainers like pop musicians and film actors deserve their high earnings. Additionally, if there are types of jobs that demand higher payment, then it would happen to be the educational staff and manual worker.
