Nowadays, several couple of parents considers that it better for their children to take part in the games, sports and competitions just when they award a prize, regarded their performant. But it is still a controversial issue that others say that children should learn to cope with losing or winning to be prepared for life.

At fist point, when a kid reach a prize means that they have a talent in that subject and it can be motivated by teachers or parents to gain more. Then they can improve their skills and become better in the futures. It also encourages the ambition and dreams from them and may be the supportive of people can make them more confident and be inspirated. But sometimes, these hoping can be the pressure on them and some subjects are not the subject that children really want to participate.

In the second perspective, when children are used to losing or winning, they can see that the prize is not crucial, and all the things they wants to gain eventually is experiments and the lessons from these competitions. And teacher and parents can only be said to be postponing the unpleasant sensation and not eliminating them entirely. Moreover, it help them to learn how to over come the difficulties, stand up after falling down and not concern too much about the little benefits. Hence, they will become more brave and independent.

In conclusion, my standpoint is that it better when children can be learned about the losing and winning in the helpful and heathy ways because it will help them to face with any aspects of life even when parents are not beside them in the long run.
