There is criticsm that it is important for Western nations to adjust their daily meals because it’s supposed that the food they eat is bad and harmful for their health. Personally, I think some of things like junk food and coke are affect their health badly, but not all the food. So just a small number of them should change their day-to-day food.
One the one hand, it should be accepted that many countries from the West are the origin of many harmful food. In fact, there are some brands that are well-known all over the world such as Pepsi, Coca Cola, Mc’ Donald,... These brands are all from places outside Asia and all provide people with fast food and coke which are really unhealthy. And the health of people from these countries will be affected firstly and badly. Eventually, some of them become overweight, obesity and may have diabetes or heart diseases. So, it is vital for them to change their diet.
On the other hand, in these Western countries, there is still a large number of healthy people beacause they know exactly what they eat. It can be seen that, Western nations have a host of models with lean and skinny body. Moreover, this is the places that have various kinds of vegetable and food. So, the number of people choose to eat clean may outweigh the number of the obesities. In addition, some of them also like to eat junk food, but they know how much is enough to not be overweight.
To summarise, not all the food the Western eat are unhealthy and not all of them need to make difference in their daily diet. Not only Western people but people around the world also pay attention on what we eat, we should have healthy diet to keep fit and have better life.
