Essay & Composition Writing

Some people believe that unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of high school programmers (for example working for a charity, improving the neighbourhood or teaching sports to younger children).

It is considered that volunteering activities should play an integral part in the high school curriculum. I completely agree with this opinion and think that high school students should be forced to make little contribution to the benefit of society by doing unpaid community work.

First of all, I believe that free social work gives students the golden opportunity to showcase their talents. While people do volunteer work, they might probably face a range of challenges. Therefore, in order to get through it, they have to do their level best as well as apply knowledge gained into practice. For example, in volunteering programs, it is an uphill task for students to teach younger children about any kind of field. Since children will find it a steep learning curve if the teacher doesn’t elucidate the point of the subject. Hence, these problems encourage teenagers to be patient and do something more creative. Moreover, if they do it well, they will enhance the standard of their CV. Therefore, can easily apply for some prestigious universities in the forthcoming future.

Secondly, doing volunteer work can help to improve social skills as well as build up trust and honesty, therefore, leads to cement student’s relationship. In other word, today teenagers do not have many extracurricular activities, students mostly go home and surf the web or immerse themselves in games in that they seem to be separated from modern society. Thus, doing unpaid community work is a wonderful way to accelerate student’s interpersonal skills as well as ward themselves off couch-potato phenomenon.

To conclude, I believe that this is a good idea and if it is feasible in schools/colleges, it will provide tangible benefits for students
