With the development of new science and technology, people now can make many similar products but different quality, This leads customer to have many choices between choosing one that suit them best. My view is that having a bunch of choices is not always a good thing.
To begin with, it can raise the rivalry between providers to provide better products. This means that when they are under the pressure, they can produce some bad quality products for profit, which affect directly to consumer benefits. If client choose the bad one, it can be harmful for whoever use it.
Moreover, it is hard to determine which one gives the right information and which one is fake. For example, there are many free scientific articles talking about the same topic but different information, which can confuse readers as they do not know which one reports correctly, and users may spread the fake news on social media, causing many consequences. Compared to the past, when did not have internet, they had to go to the library or pay for books to read.
In contrast, having many choices makes people easily compare the quality of the same kind of product in different brands. Indeed, it can save much time as people only need to search the items on the internet and choose the one suit them best. But the quality of some items may not be ensured.
In conclusion, it is easily confusing that people have too many choices as they do not know which one is suitable for them. Whereas, it can also save much time if there are many choices for people.
