Some points supposed that it is a good idea to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and some other areas while some others oppose it. In this essay, an attempt will be made to discuss about both benefits and drawbacks of this idea.

Those who support the idea of freely sharing information have their own reasons. First of all, it helps people access the information easily. It is not important where you are, you can approach the updated information just with a smartphone connecting with the internet. In addition, it help people widen the knowledge, specifically, it will promote the self-studying ability of students when they can use the social media as a useful media in looking for information. Futhermore, it will partly reduce the disparity between the poor and the rich which means it does not matter about your background when some poor students can't go to school, all people can access the information equally.

On the other hand, those who oppose this idea also have their viewpoints. They propose that freely sharing information causes some unforseen consequences, because some released information of scientific or political fields will lead to the negative effects on some organizations or reseachers. For instance, some researcher will not get a worthy outcome for their attempt. In another aspect, it frequently triggers the situation of violating of duplicating.

In conclusion, it is my opinion that freely sharing information will bring many benefits for people, however, it is till essential to keep secret for some vital informations in some fields.
