Essay & Composition Writing

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these...

It is considered that whether information in scientific research, business and the academic world should be free access to everyone or it’s beneficial to share this at a price. However, I opine that some crucial and priceless information should not be shared without charge.

On the one hand, there are a host of reasons why people are in favour of sharing information in free. At first, if any individuals have the right to access information without fees, people will acquire numerous knowledge in that their work and study will be facilitated that leads to enhancing their standard of life. Granted, Scientific research relies heavily on available data and previous discoveries. Hence, if a successful scientist shares his/her discovery, others can learn it and accelerate their study progress. Secondly, by sharing information in free, individual and company can be more famous, giving rise to the new marketing strategy.

On the other hand, I agree with the view that vital information deserves to be scrutinized before making them accessible. The initial reasons are that some information is detrimental to our relationship as well as security. Thus, for the sake of protecting our safety, this information ought to be delimited. Take nuclear weapons, for instance, which is considered to be one of the major threatening sauces that can drive our global on the verge of obliteration in that if the information of these weapons spread widely, it will jeopardize our life.

In conclusion, although some people opine that sharing information without charge can yield improvement to our living standard. I personally believe that some priceless information should be kept private.
