Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. To what extent, do you agree or disagree?

Many people believe that enjoyable hobbies are activities that require challenging and complicated tasks. Although a group of people agrees with this, I completely disagree with this point of view.

Firstly, a hobby is not necessarily difficult to be pleasant. For example, my interest is to listen to music after school time, I listen to many genres such as classical, electronic, pop. I really love to listen to music since it helps me to blow up my mind and has many relaxation times to immerse in my own world after many stressful hours at school. This is indeed a very easy hobby because I’m just sitting on a couch while doing this, but I always get the pleasure I wanted.

Secondly, it is undeniable that people have different interests and passions so everyone should enjoy their own hobby without forcing. Many people prefer sophisticated and challenging hobbies such as mountain climbing, bungee jumping, or water rafting are considered high risk and trigger the adrenalin which makes them feel alive. While some people are satisfied and proud of their unique and diverse stamp collection when others enjoy walking as it helps them in maintaining their health. Therefore, people could not rank different hobbies based on the difficulty level of the activity.

In conclusion, it is true that some hobbies are difficult but others are easy, and everyone has different hobbies. I personally believe that hobbies do not need to be difficult to be enjoyable but they should be in accordance with a person's interest.
