Opinions are divided on whether only studying at university can lead someone to success or whether there are other ways that can help a person succeed. This essay will examine the logic behind the former view, but still firmly agree with the latter.

Those who argue that sitting in a high-education environment at university is the unique method to be successful may point to the large amount of knowledge that students can receive. They may say that teachers at university are expertises in their subjects and they have a wide range of insights on what they teach. Therefore, pupils are likely to gain a great deal of information which plays an important role in their career prospects. For example, after finishing courses at school, an administrator bachelor's may be likely to make use of what he learned at university to manage his time and tasks well everyday, thereby getting praise from his boss and getting promotion quickly . However, there is nothing sure that everyone attending classes at university studies hard on what they learn, leading to some of them lack knowledge and confidence to start working.

Nevertheless, I am in favor of the latter view because other ways such as vocational education or self-employment also help people succeed. In terms of vocational education, people can learn the craft and cooking skills which do not require a high educational basis. As a result, these people will be able to find suitable jobs which help them make a living and support their children well. Regarding self-employment, those who do not go to university can start up and operate their own business in fields which they are confident in. This way, they can not only earn a lot of money but also provide job opportunities to the local community.

In conclusion, although some people say that solely university can help a person become successful because of the knowledge it gives, I still hold my belief that there are other ways such as apprenticeship or business operations that also lead people to success.
