Some more riddles...
1. With the head of an elephant,
and the tail of a monkey,
My touch can be deadly if you're unlucky.
I'm an excellent swimmer,
But if you wet me I'll holler,
And racing me would be pure folly.
2. On rock and tree my life does lounge,
And ground as well my home may be found.
Growing up is not my thing,
Since close to home is where I abound.
My roots don't go all too deep,
In fact you may say they are rather meek.
Useful purpose in me can be found,
For like a sponge I will sop up what is around.
Now tell me true what I am.
