Hi,

What's the difference between the following sentences?

1- There is a man at the door.
2- There is some man at the door.

The difference concerns the determiners.

The teacher's guide has presented the following clarification over the two mentioned sentences:
1- There is a man but we don't know which one.
2- There is a man but we don't know who it is or what it is and why he is here.
