Some help with the 'l' sound

Hi

Sometimes when I ask for the bill in a restaurant, I was misunderstood as I was asking for a beer. I don't have problems with the initial 'l' sound, it's the ending 'l' sound that's been baffling me. Can someone please give me some advise on how I can improve my ending 'l' sound?

Thanks

Try this. For "bill" instead say "bim". For "m" the lips close and sound goes through the nose.
