Do these sentences sound ok in conversations?

Dear Clive and other Teachers!

- Here in my country, it is very common that when you're riding your motorbike and talking on the phone at the same time, someone might ****** your cell phone and your purse, and you may fall off and have a serious brain injury. Why can't use "a brain trauma" in this situation? I searched on the internet and it had a lot of results about "brain trauma".

Hi,

'Brain trauma' is not wrong, but 'trauma' is not a word that is typical of casual conversation. It's a bit too 'medical and clinical'.
