Whats the differens in meaning beetwen:

She will be there for sure!

is it real?

is it for real?

"Is it real?" is asking for assurance that "it" (construed as as object, substance, artifact, or the like) is not something fake, an imitation, or imaginary in some way. It is like saying "Is it genuine?"

In some cases theese expresssions could be used interchangably, but I'll try to explain how they would be used differently.

I'd say "real" means "actually existing, rather than imaginary."

"For real" has more of a sense of "true, authentic, sincere."
