Some grammar questions about conjuction

eg.1. The first year I went to U.S.A, I was so nervous.

2. The first year I went to U.S.A was so nervous.

3. The computer was not working, a huge problem, because the virus was spreading throughout the network.

are these all correct? especially 3 because I saw some article that it add some information to describe something jus like 3" a huge problem" for describing computer was not working.
