some grammar questions

hi there
i got some questions regarding this consruction hope u help me get it

(well-known phrase lol) the way it's meant to be played

the last part of that sentense refers 2 the future it means that it will be played by someone without any troubles etc

and also the popular phrases like to be continued or when some1 asks you to give your info for example
type in your first and last name these data to be used as your initials (later on)..

or is it a short for it is to be played and so on

An adjectival infinitive describes a noun. It must follow the noun that it describes. Here is an example:

"That is the best thing to do."

«Thing» is the noun. «To do» is the adjectival infinitive.
