Some good advice
If, by chance, it ever comes about that you're being chased by some extremely powerful mutant or psychotic killer and you manage, by some stroke of good fortune, to stun him, so that he is lying on the floor, temporarily, but very briefly unconscious do not turn around and run away, unarmed and helpless, allowing said mutant or psychotic killer to wake up, thirty seconds later, and resume chasing you.

One of the things that bugged me about "War of the Worlds" was the scene where the crowd stands around looking at this hole in the middle of the street while the ground shakes beneath their feet.
They just stand there like cows gaping at a new strain of hay. I thought it was completely unbelievable. In real life, people would have hauled.
