Some flexibility on / about the design of the slides

Hi,

Background:
Someone think we should put more details on the presentation slide.
Someone think we should only put a few bullet points on the presentation slide.
For this issue (number of text), I think we should have flexibility.

Question:
1) Should I use on, about, or other preposition?
2) Based on the background, what will you write the replace "the design of the presentation slides".

Sentence:
I think we should have some flexibility on / about the design of the presentation slides.

My opinion:
I know "the design of the presentation slides" is not suitable.
However, I don't know any words can reflect the background above.

Thanks
