Some expressions from my cover letter

Hello?

I'm not sure whether some of the expressions I have used in my cover letter are OK. Can anyone help me?

1."Referring to the advertisement published on your webpage, I am writing to apply for the position
of a XXX."

2. "I also gained relevant practical experience, absolving successfully internships in XXX and in XXX as well as at XXX, where I was dealing with various aspects of European and public policy affairs."

3. "Currently, I am a public service employee, responsible mainly for preparing and coordinating publicity activities of XXX in the field of European integration as well as implementing the XXX Programme."

4. "Having gained some relevant practical experience in the field of XXX I would like to pursue this type of work further, however from a new interesting perspective."

5. "My motivation for applying for the post at XXX is to acquire new competence...

6. I feel that my insight into the functioning of XXX would prove valuable in this post.

I would be grateful if anyone could comment on this.
