A number of individuals suppose that students who learn a foreign language at primart education are more likely to have an advantage over those beginning to learn it at secondary school. From my perspective , I think this phenomenon offers more benefits than drawbacks.
On the one hand, children in 3-9 years old can acquire knowledge more quickly than those in older ages. Owing to the fact that they are in stage with developing brain for familiarizing with their mother tongue and other new things, they have a great memory and learn them very fast. Secondly, the earlier you learn a new language, the more knowledge about lifestyle, culture of different country you can accrue. This can be also conducive to your future work and study. In this period, pupils are on the tip-toe with curiosity about everything new around them , results in industry in reaching the new ones.
On the other hand, I am of the opinion thay the aforementioned advantages are at the expense of greater drawbacks. Initiating kids into learning the second tongue along with their native tongue can cause confusion between 2 languages . By virtue of being too small , they can make a lot of mistakes if there are too much knowledge to study. Moreover, in case that child spends much time on learning a different language, his mother tongue can be able to be in decline.
In conclusion, while imbibing knowledges about a new language when children are just at primary school may have some negative aspects, I believe they are outweighed by the more significant positive aspects.
