Some educators believe that every child should be taught how to play a musical instrument. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, some educational experts think that learning to play musical instrument should be included in every child’s studying list. From my viewpoint. I agree with this idea.

To begin with, training children to play musical instrument can enhance their concentration. If they knowing how to play a musical instrument, these young players stand a better chance of being accepted by many musical clubs at school where they can socialize with other members. Exchanging ideas about how to read the music sheets or playing music together as a band could be a good reason to become a friend. Also, in Vietnam, there’re several school music festivals during the school year, and children who play music in such events can have the privilege of being recognized by other students who might become their friends after that. Another benefit of teaching children how to master a musical instrument is that their cognitive abilities can be improved. Playing musical instrument require young players to combine different abilities like hearing, seeing, and moving hands at the same time, learning this kind if the instrument can push them towards becoming multitasking. For instance, once playing the classic drums, players have to make use of various body parts like legs, hands, and brain all at once. It is commonly believed by parents in my country that children having instrumental skills are more intelligent than others.

In conclusion, learning to play a musical instrument is beneficial to the social and intellectual development of children. I agree with the idea that teaching every child how to play a musical instrument is essential.
