Is this sentence correct:


"When people are very exalted, they should go out and have some air, as that's often enough for their anger to ease a bit."

When people are very [ agitated / upset / angry / enraged ], they ....

Clearly 'exalted' (noble; mighty; godlike) is the wrong word here.
